Psychotherapy for creative
and highly sensitive people
For whom

Whether you work with paint and canvas or words on pages, your creativity bears the imprint of your soul.

You create works of art in which your voice sings and your mood dances. It is an inspiring and amazing journey, but it is also quite often accompanied by doubt, fear and anxiety.

A highly sensitive person is at the intersection of two worlds.

When they are engaged in creativity, they focus on sounds, shades of colors and are deeply immersed in emotions.

When entering the outside world, they must “change their clothes” and become a person with well-built boundaries. They must possess the ability to calmly accept criticism and the stamina to continue working. A creative person is somewhat reminiscent of a dolphin, which needs two elements to live - water and air.

To be flexible and resilient at the same time, you need to have a good understanding of your inner blueprints, know your emotional triggers and ways of self-regulation.

As a psychotherapist, I specialize in working with creative people. Each creative process is unique and requires special attention. My task is to help you find and maintain a balance between the internal creative process and existence in the outside world.

What is a child if not a future adult? And what is an adult if not a child in his past?

Whether we like it or not, our childhood sets the narrative for our adult life. How we felt when we were young, how our caregivers reacted to us, becomes the part of our inner voice.

Currently, our children are putting together their life puzzle, where parents are the main characters of their memories.

None of us can be the perfect parent for our child. But we can do something different. We can give our children ability to understand their feelings and use it to create their own inner map. Even when we are not around, they will not remain helpless in the outside world.

Children do not have the same ability to reflect as adults. But they hear the voice of their body well.

Sandtray therapy is a place where a child “can think with his hands.” The topics can be different - self-doubt, changes in the family, new stages of development and associated anxiety or aggression.

The child’s psyche is ready to cope with all tasks with the support of an adult. Let's figure it out together!

What can you expect from therapy

Overcoming tension:

The creative process can be stressful and intense. Psychotherapy will help you learn to regulate internal stress and external pressure, allowing your potential to express itself freely.

Dealing with melancholy or sadness:

We know from experience that creativity and discouragement often go hand in hand. Therapy will help you understand and use your emotions as a source of self-expression rather than as a barrier.

Solving relationship problems:

Creative and highly sensitive people often face difficulties in relationships. In the process of psychotherapy, we find our ground and learn to work with conflict situations or people, without falling into difficult experiences or health problems.

Support for depression and anxiety:

When depression interferes with your creativity, psychotherapy can be a support on the road to recovery. Paying attention to ourselves and our current state allows us to avoid serious breakdowns and setbacks.
Severe anxiety takes away strength and does not interfere with focusing on the creative process. During therapy sessions, you learn to manage your condition without driving yourself to the point of exhaustion.

How does it work

Psychotherapy for creative people is aimed at finding a balance between your inner world and creative realization. It is a journey that brings deep self-understanding and releases creativity.

In my practice, I use the Gestalt therapy method, in which the client and therapist discuss topics that are relevant to the client and jointly identify patterns and usial strategies in decision making. They experiment and live new experiences in relationships.

I also offer my clients work with a therapeutic sandbox using the „Sand Tray“ projective technique. It allows you, figuratively speaking, to “turn off your head” and work directly with the yours internal mental content, using body reactions, metaphors and images.

I am a full member of the Czech Association of Psychotherapists.
As a psychotherapist, I cooperate the VZP insurance company.
I provide sessions in Russian, Czech and English languages.
I will help you find a balance between the internal creative process and existence in the external world.
How long does it take?
Psychotherapy for creative people is an individual process and its duration depends on the specific circumstances and needs of the client. Here's what affects the time needed for psychotherapy
Nature and depth of problems
If you have recurring problems such as self-doubt, anxiety, restlessness or lack of energy, then you need to consider that they take time to resolve.
Session frequency
The frequency of psychotherapy sessions affects the duration of the process. To make changes, our psyche needs time and regularity. Sessions usually take place once a week
Goal of therapy
If your goal is to solve a specific situation, then therapy can be short-term - from 5 to 10 sessions. If you are seeking deep self-exploration and serious lasting change, this process will take longer from 30 to 50 sessions. In this case you can expect that therapy will take from 1 to 3 years.
Cooperation and motivation
The effectiveness of psychotherapy depends on your participation and motivation. Psychotherapist is different from a doctor. Their role is to be a guide, companion and partner in your therapeutic journey. They are the one who holds the space as you progress on the path of self-discovery.
I see psychotherapy as an exploring process. It requires time and effort. As a result of good therapy you create your own inner map, according to which you can continue to move independently through life, avoiding dead ends and serous emotional failures.
About me
My name is Tatiana Mironova, I am a psychologist and psychotherapist. I really enjoy working with creative and highly sensitive people.

The life of an artist in any form of art can be incredibly exciting and also extremely challenging. The desire of perfection, emotional tensions, creativity crises and moments of self doubts are firmly connected with the amazing ability of a person to express himself through artistic work.

Childhood

Since my childhood, I was a highly sensitive kid. I was acutely aware of smells, sounds, and paid attention to what colors and forms surrounded me.

I grew up in a family where people told each other stories about their lives. I listened and these stories became a part of me.

So I found out that in our family, it is important to be strong, never give up and not be sad. Being highly sensitive did not help you to survive and therefore you were given names such as whiner, crybaby, picky and boring.

To me it took quite a lot of time and inner work to learn to recognize who I am, with all the joys and limitations of being highly sensitive person.

Creative part

I learned to support my creative side through writing and handiwork. I paint, knit long scarves and glue broken pottery using the Japanese Kintsugi technique.

I understand well the peculiarities of the internal processes of creative and highly sensitive people and want to share with you the beauty and complexity of this path.

I live in a small town near Prague. I have 4 children and 2 dogs, Bruno and William. I love my family, my work and the life I live now.
